Battery Maintenance and Cleaning Guide

All the maintenance and cleaning information you need to ensure that your Adell faucets maintain their first-day performance, appearance and coating for many years.

Regular Maintenance for Long-Lasting Use

Three basic maintenance steps you should follow to maintain the mechanical integrity and aesthetic appearance of your faucet.

01 — Aerator

Aerator Cleaning

The aerator is the small element at the end of your battery that regulates the water flow. Once a month, remove it and soak it in warm vinegar water for 15-20 minutes. Limescale accumulation reduces water flow rate; regular cleaning maintains optimum flow and water conservation.

02 — Gasket & Cartridge

Gasket and Cartridge Control

If dripping is observed when the battery is completely closed, the gasket or cartridge is worn. An annual check will prevent possible water damage and energy loss early. You can get technical support from Adell authorized service network.

03 — Surface Protection

Surface Protection

After use, wipe the battery surface with a soft, dry cloth. Drying of water minerals on the surface accelerates lime accumulation and causes the coating to appear dull over time. This simple habit significantly extends the life of the coating.

Correct Cleaning Step by Step

Choosing the right sequence and the right product is critical for effective cleaning without damaging your coating.

  • 02

Weekly Cleaning — pH Neutral Cleaner

Apply a mild, acid- and chlorine-free, pH-neutral cleanser. Leave it for a few minutes, rinse with warm water and pat dry. Weekly cleaning prevents limescale build-up.

  • 03

    Descaling — Special Formula Cleaner

Use special products that do not contain acid on surface scale and are safe for battery coatings. Remove the aerator and soak it in vinegar solution. Direct application of acid to the surface will permanently damage your coating.

  • 04

Last Step — Drying with Micro Fiber

Dry the surface completely with a microfiber cloth after each cleaning. Traces left by water minerals cause the coating to appear dull and dull over time.
